Getting Involved - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does it take to become a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA)?
A: The first and most significant requirement for membership in CMA is that you acknowledge you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. The second requirement for membership is completion of the Member Training course.

Q: What is the Member Training Course?
A: This course provides in-depth information on who CMA is, what we do, and basic ministering principles. We feel it is important to provide key information about CMA and basic ministry training to anyone desiring to join.

Q: How can I get this Member Training Course?
A: You will need to complete the training only once in order to be qualified for membership, although we encourage you to review the material yearly. Please contact your local chapter or area rep to arrange to get the course.

Q: Do I have to pay dues to be a member of CMA?
A: Although we do operate on a donation basis, there are no yearly membership fees for being a member of CMA.

Q: Where can I find CMA Chapters in my area?
A: To locate a chapter in your area, click Find a Chapter which is also a link in the main navigation bar.

Q: Why should I be part of a local chapter?
A: Local chapters provide the opportunity to fellowship, grow, and minister with like-minded Christians. They help you to connect to CMA'ers throughout your province and throughout the country.

Q: How do I apply to become a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association of Canada (CMA Canada)?
A: To become a member of CMA Canada, you must obtain a membership training course from the National Support Center or through a chapter near you.

Q: Can I fax or email in my application?
A: All applications must be the original paperwork (no copies) and mailed to CMA Canada national office.

Q: I recently accepted Christ, now what?
A: You have made the most important decision of this lifetime, congratulations! Please visit our New Believers page for vital information concerning your walk with Christ. We encourage you to attend a local church as well as attend a local CMA chapter meeting.
