Greetings to you,
After moving to Canada from Austria in 1976 I moved to Barrhead, Alberta in 1979 for a summer job. That summer I met my wife Nancy, got married in 1981 and to this day we are still making Barrhead our home. God gave us the gift of two children, our daughter Kristen (1983) and our son James (1985). We now also are proud grandparents and enjoy spending time with our two grandkids who live really close. During a youth conference in December of 1972 I accepted Jesus as my Saviour. Over time though my focus on Christ drifted off target and although still attending church and reading scripture I did not have a real relationship with our Lord. God though kept showing me His grace during this time, did not give up on me but rather had plans for my life. He gave me a wakeup call in January 2003 as it says in Hebrews 12:3 ‘He chastens everyone he accepts as his son’. This call changed me to surrender my life, to seek Him and His will. Being a Christian is not a onetime decision we make, but rather a daily surrender and with it we can have the assurance of one day spending eternity in His presence. Back in 1977 before motorcycling was the cool thing to do I started riding. Although having little ones slowed down my wife and I going for a ride I never was without a motorcycle. When our youngest was finishing high school my wife and I got back on the bike together and we were able to spend our holidays and weekends riding again. With us being back on the bike and living in a relationship with Him it was not long before God called us to be in the ministry of CMA. Over the years many doors were opened for us and it is by faith and obedience that we followed his leading. It is my desire to bring honor and glory to His name and to be a humble servant. I know it by His grace alone that we do the works He has prepared for us and that without Him we can accomplish nothing. May our Lord richly bless you as you are ‘Riding For The Son’. Grace be with you.
