Secretary – CMA Canada Board of Directors
In the spring of 2002 I began attending regular meetings of the Northern Lights Christian Riders, the Edmonton CMA chapter. Being new to this community of bikers and Christians, I felt a warmth and sincerity not experienced for a long time. Seasons of Refreshing allowed me to meet many more wonderful CMA members, and in particular a chapter member who sold me my very first motorcycle. That sweet Harley was a dream come true. The summer that followed was an adventure of a lifetime. Irrespective of the motorcycle per se, which is just a ministry tool, I knew that I had found my life’s passion to Ride for The Son. Clearly, it was God’s leading and direction. Many blessings have followed.
Receiving my CMA colours on December 9, 2002 was important from a couple of standpoints. It meant my full commitment to an important ministry. And that very date coincided with my late wife’s passing and going home to be with Jesus nine years prior. It was her ten months of battling cancer that led our two children and me to Christ Jesus. Prison and Prayer Team have been my ministries of focus.
Seven years later, in August 2009, saw me appointed to the Board of Directors of CMA Canada, and the following year nominated as Board Secretary. I feel humbled that God would use me in any role for His Kingdom. But I feel privileged to do His work and be a servant. I solicit your prayers for the Board of Directors that we provide effective leadership to this ministry so that God would be honoured and glorified, and that His Kingdom would be greatly expanded.
